Our Story

Dream House Interiors is an interior design showroom / workroom that specializes in custom work. Located in Thousand Oaks, we serve the Ventura County, Los Angeles County and Malibu areas. Mother/daughter team Farzi and Nina merge wisdom and new ideas together to bring their customers a unique and enjoyable experience.

With a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Farzi began her journey in the interior design world. She quickly came to find that you can have the most beautiful finishes and accessories, but nothing compares to the feeling that textiles bring to a space. She discovered what a detailed niche draperies, window treatments and soft furnishings were and decided to make this her focus in design. That is when Dream House Interiors was born.

Nina grew up watching her mom’s fierce passion for what she does. She decided to go to school and get her bachelor’s degree in interior design as well. After a few years of experiencing working for a hospitality design/build firm in LA, she decided that her true passion is what she grew up watching her mom do. Being hands on with fabrics, textures and the detailed fabrication process of custom window treatments and furniture. Now, she is lucky enough to be her mom’s partner and takes great pride in the business she has watched her mom grow over the last 35 years!
